Mysterious Kalmykia has become the leader in the growth rate of so-called “quiet” tourism in Russia. In 2025, the number of bookings in the republic increased by 41%, according to a joint study by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and the Association of Travel Aggregators (ATAG).

Ambassador of Qatar visited Russia

Recently the delegation of the State of Qatar headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ahmed Nasser Al Thani visited the Republic of Kalmykia.
