The Republic of Dagestan is strengthening its tourism potential: 17 tour guides have been included in the federal register, the Ministry of Tourism and Folk Arts and Crafts of the Republic of Dagestan reported.

Tourist tax, tourism and taxes in Russia

The volume of receipts from the tourist tax in the budgets of municipalities of the Republic of Karelia for the first quarter of 2025 amounted to 10.5 million rubles, the press service of the Government of Karelia reported on Friday.

78 municipalities have already decided to use the tourist tax as an additional source of funding in Karelia. (more…)
