The President of the Abkhaz Union of Tourism Anna Kalyagina told NSN that the average annual increase in tourists is 6-7%, but this year the figures may improve.

Abkhazia expects the tourist flow from Russia to increase by 20% in the summer of 2025, but so far only 60% of the room stock has been booked, the President of the Abkhaz Union of Tourism Anna Kalyagina told NSN.

Direct flights to Abkhazia will appear from another region. Thus, the airline “RusLine” will open a flight program to Sukhum from Saratov from June 28. Flights will be carried out twice a week, on Mondays and Saturdays, until October 25. President Anna Kalyagina noted that the season in the region has not yet begun in full force. Marine Garden Sochi Hotels & SPA 5* hotel complex has opened in Khostinsky district of Sochi, the press service of ZONT Hotel Group management company reports.

“Marine Garden Sochi Hotels & SPA 5* hotel complex is located on the territory of 10 hectares in the historical park zone. The new hotel in North Ossetia is operated by Cosmos Hotel Group.
