Exhibition of sacred relics of Buddha
Today, October 11, 2025, ancient artifacts associated with Buddha arrived at the Central Temple of mysterious Kalmykia, a source in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Kalmykia reported.
The exhibition of sacred Buddha relics will be located in the large prayer hall of the khurul (temple) and will last for at least a week. Believers will be able to visit and venerate the Kapilavastu relics from October 12th to 18th.
The monastic sangha of the Kalmyk khurul is preparing to conduct a mandala offering service in Elista. Buddhist monks are performing the ritual of washing and offering the mandala to the relics.
